Positive Behavior Intervention System is used at South Valley. Students are award Eagle Points for demonstrated expected behaviors. These points are redeemed for incentives throughout the year.

Students at South Valley have the opportunity to get Real Word Learning experiences through many classes.

8th grade students at South Valley are involved in an innovative approach to teaching and learning. Learning is achieved through interdisciplinary projects and subject-specific seminars. Content is connected through themes and real world skills and collaboration.
